Job Summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs professional to lead the Nutrition Regulatory Affairs function in the Pacific Asia region. As a key member of the Abbott team, you will be responsible for managing regulatory submissions, developing strategic plans, and providing regulatory advice to support business activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Submissions: Manage the preparation and submission of regulatory documents to obtain and maintain product approvals in accordance with agreed business priorities.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement regulatory strategies for product registration submissions and projects in the Pacific Asia region.
  • Regulatory Advice: Provide expert regulatory advice to cross-functional stakeholders on regulatory requirements, compliance, and risk management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Regulatory Intelligence: Monitor changes in the external environment, including regulatory updates, and ensure the impact of these changes is assessed and addressed.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of regulatory professionals to achieve business objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Science degree or equivalent, with additional tertiary qualifications in business management highly desirable.
  • Experience: 6 years of regulatory experience in the food, dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft tools.
