We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to join our team at MLC Limited. As a key member of our Business Enablement team, you will play a critical role in supporting and managing our engagement with regulators to ensure cohesion in our regulatory narrative and build our reputation as a reliable and high-integrity participant in the Australian financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage a variety of regulatory engagements and responses to requests, including prudential and conduct-related matters.
  • Provide insight and advice on regulatory risk management to stakeholders to support regulatory compliance and sustainable strategic advantage.
  • Ensure that regulator requests and actions arising from regulatory engagements are responded to in an appropriate and timely manner.

About You

We are looking for an experienced lawyer or regulatory professional with strong interpersonal and communications skills to focus on constructive engagements and building relationships. You will have strong financial services regulatory experience, including exposure to AFCA, ASIC, APRA or other regulators within the financial services space.

You will also have a solid understanding of financial services and the associated legal framework, with the ability to drive substantive discussions and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
