About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to join our team at MLC Limited. As a key member of our Business Enablement team, you will play a critical role in supporting and managing our engagement with regulators to ensure cohesion in our regulatory narrative and build our reputation as a reliable and high-integrity participant in the Australian financial services industry.

As a Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for providing insight and advice on regulatory risk management to stakeholders to support regulatory compliance and sustainable strategic advantage. You will also ensure that regulator requests and actions arising from regulatory engagements are responded to in an appropriate and timely manner.

About You

We are looking for an experienced lawyer or regulatory professional with strong financial services regulatory experience, including exposure to AFCA, ASIC, APRA or other regulators within the financial services space. You will have a solid understanding of financial services and the associated legal framework, as well as the ability to drive substantive discussions and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

You will have strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands. You will also have a proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
