About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to join our team at MLC Limited. As a key member of our Business Enablement team, you will play a critical role in supporting and managing our engagement with regulators to ensure cohesion in our regulatory narrative and build our reputation as a reliable and high-integrity participant in the Australian financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage a variety of regulatory engagements and responses to requests, including prudential and conduct-related matters.
  • Provide insight and advice on regulatory risk management to stakeholders to support regulatory compliance and sustainable strategic advantage.
  • Ensure that regulator requests and actions arising from regulatory engagements are responded to in an appropriate and timely manner.

About You:

  • You will have strong financial services regulatory experience, including exposure to AFCA, ASIC, APRA, or other regulators within the financial services space.
  • You will have a solid understanding of financial services and the associated legal framework, with the ability to drive substantive discussions and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will possess critical and analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, positive interpersonal and influencing skills, and a proven ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.
