Corporate Governance Coordinator Job Description

As a key member of our governance operations, you will support the management and administration of good governance practices. This entails ensuring our organisation complies with constitutions, legislative requirements, and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to governing bodies and executive teams.
  • Managing governance projects within scope, deadlines, and budget parameters; maintaining policies and frameworks.
  • Collaborating closely with the company secretary to maintain registers, manage elections and nominations.
  • Supporting committee and annual general meetings by attending and assisting with agenda preparation meetings, preparing meeting packs, and taking accurate minutes.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in laws or legal studies, accompanied by at least two years of experience in a related field. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in any business field with five or more years of experience in senior office administration roles is also acceptable. Proficiency in governance administration is highly desirable.
