As a seasoned Client Strategy Director, you will lead the strategic function for our team, aligned to a specific sales patch. Your role involves selling and delivering connected, integrated, and customised business-oriented solutions and partnerships that drive client results.

About the Role:
  • You will lead a cross-functional team consisting of strategy, solutions, and insights functions that creates valued business partnerships and proactively identifies business opportunities for clients in the media and advertising space.
  • Your work will involve collaborating with the sales, digital, and product teams to generate demand and create market-leading pitches that leverage assets from across our portfolio, meeting client business objectives and priorities.
  • You will develop a deep understanding of client business drivers to address these needs through strategic advice, data, and insights.
Requirements:
  • You should have experience within the media, advertising, publishing, or marketing industry.
  • A substantial background in media strategy, planning, and execution is required.
  • You must be able to lead a team with an eye for talent and ability to identify development opportunities to grow the skills of others.
  • Experience in client and category business planning, sales strategies, market pitching, and securing revenue while increasing market share is essential.
  • You should have the ability to develop end-to-end, strategic commercial solutions and partnerships that drive revenue.
  • The ability to build and nurture relationships internally and externally is crucial.
  • You should be able to negotiate, problem-solve, and overcome issues while maintaining a respectful approach.
  • You are highly organised with an eye for detail and an acumen for numbers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary, as well as a keen understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives.
