Job Title: A-Grade Industrial Electrician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled A-Grade Industrial Electrician to join our team on either afternoon or night shift.

The successful candidate will report to the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for carrying out breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations across automated production lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on PLC-controlled machinery.
  • Assist with installation, upgrades, and commissioning of new plant and equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and site-specific safety procedures.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and automation teams to resolve breakdowns and improve line efficiency.
  • Complete maintenance records and reporting using CMMS systems.
Requirements:
  • A-Grade Electrical license.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within food manufacturing industry in an Electrical, Electromechanical or Dual Trade position.
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities in high-speed or automated production environments.
  • Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software and preventative maintenance programs.
