Technical Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Specialist to develop strategic relationships with our customers and lead pre-sales engagements for our service provider solutions portfolio.

As a trusted advisor, you will have the opportunity to work with industry-leading technology and collaborate with a dynamic team of technical influencers who drive business outcomes using our Service Provider Technology portfolio.

About the Role:
  • Partner with Account Managers and Executives in a pre-sales technical role, promoting and showcasing our solutions.
  • Promote and showcase our solutions to customers, explaining features and benefits, and crafting and configuring solutions to meet specific customer needs.
  • Develop technical relationships with key customers, become familiar with our Service Provider solution portfolio, and lead the technical presales engagement.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of networking and cybersecurity industry-related experience as well as product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings.
  • Typically requires Bachelor's degree (EE/CS) or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
  • Solid experience with SP IP Transport Networks with underlying IP/MPLS or SR-MPLS or SRv6 technologies.
  • Working knowledge of SP Optical Transport Networks, Automation and Assurance solutions.
  • Ability to deliver Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the value of end-to-end solutions.
  • Participate in preparing tender documents and proposals, RFPs, RFIs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute as a team member.
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to assess and resolve a problem with an effective course of action.
