Job Title: Commercial Insurance Specialist
Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Insurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Build Strong Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while identifying new business opportunities.
- Assess Risk Profiles: Assess clients' risk profiles and insurance needs, providing expert advice on commercial insurance products, coverage options, and risk management strategies.
- Stay Informed: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare Proposals: Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients, outlining coverage options, terms, and pricing.
- Negotiate Terms: Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance carriers on behalf of clients to secure the most favorable coverage.
- Policy Issuance: Ensure accurate policy issuance and documentation, manage policy endorsements, and assist with claims when necessary.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure all transactions and documentation are in compliance with industry standards and laws.
- Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the company.
Requirements:
- Effective Communication: Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and team members.
- Negotiation Skills: Possesses effective negotiation skills.
- Commercial Insurance Knowledge: Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management; demonstrates the ability to provide expert advice to clients.
- Client Relationships: Experienced in building and maintaining positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Licensing: Holds an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
- Agency Management: Preferred Agency Management System Experience: EPIC
- Industry Experience: 3-5+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
- Account Management: Previous experience in commercial lines insurance and account management preferred.
- Sales Experience: Previous experience as an Insurance Producer or in a similar insurance sales role.
- Sales Proficiency: Proficiency in sales, with a track record demonstrating ability to sell / proven ability to bring in revenue.
