Ambulance Care Specialist

">">About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Ambulance Care Specialist to join our team. As a Registered Paramedic or Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient-centred care and treatment during the transport of patients with a wide variety of medical conditions.

  • Perform patient assessment and intervention on-road
  • Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
  • Assess the effectiveness of interventions in accordance with guidelines and regulations
  • Perform independently and problem-solve within policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with team members
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver exceptional patient care and experience
  2. Maintain accurate records and reports
  3. Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment
  4. Participate in ongoing professional development and training
  5. Support quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Qualifications as a Registered Paramedic or Division 1 Registered Nurse
  • Current registration (or pending approval for Paramedics)
  • Ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
  • Compassion, professionalism, and dedication to excellent service
  • Experience in the ambulance sector is desirable but not essential
  • Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Full Drivers Licence, Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and right to work in Australia
