Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer - Water Infrastructure to join our team in South East Queensland. As a key member of our Water Infrastructure group, you will lead the design of water infrastructure projects, provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers, and contribute to the growth of our talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of water infrastructure projects, ensuring all quality assurance processes are followed and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.
  • Coordinate, manage and complete projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with various clients across a range of sectors.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and RPEQ/CPEng registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in water and/or wastewater projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment.
  • Experience in leading project/technical teams.
  • Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality work and excellent client and stakeholder engagement skills.
