We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to lead our Water Infrastructure team in South East Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality water infrastructure projects that meet the needs of our clients and the community.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater treatment, dams, and asset management.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers to develop their skills and expertise.
- Coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion, including bidding, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
- Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across various sectors.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and registration as a Professional Engineer (RPEQ/CPEng).
- Demonstrated experience in water and/or wastewater projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment.
- Experience in leading project/technical teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
- Passion for delivering high-quality work and excellent client and stakeholder engagement skills.
