We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join our team in our Gold Coast office. This is a newly created role due to strong organic growth, and you will report directly into the State Director.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deliver projects from due diligence through to development application, co-ordination of designs and contract administration.
- Negotiate with stakeholders (clients, Authorities, other consultants etc) in relation to project deliverables (approvals, applications, contractual matters) to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Develop relationships with potential clients and improve/maintain existing client relationships.
- Assist Principal Engineers with forecasted workloads to meet project deliverables.
- Contribute to sustainable profit generation and growth.
- Manage commercial risk and demonstrate responsible judgement.
- Recruit, manage, train and mentor staff.
- Manage financial targets including budgets, profitability etc.
- Proven experience planning and managing projects through involvement in all stages of project delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Experience budgeting, commercial acumen, and risk management.
- High-level industry awareness and engagement.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- REPQ certification desirable.
