CVS Group plc is a publicly listed, global provider of integrated veterinary services operating in the UK and Australia. Our success is rooted in the dedication of our team towards animal welfare and prioritizing pets, which is central to our mission and the services we provide to our clients daily through our veterinary practices.

The Group generates substantial revenue from practices across the UK and Australia, employing approximately 9, professionals including veterinarians, nurses, and other clinical staff, along with our support office personnel. Positioned in a growing pet market, we are poised for both organic and acquisition-driven growth, with significant investments underway to enhance our infrastructure and central support systems.

Role Overview:

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a qualified individual to step into the role of Regional Director, overseeing our practices in Queensland and Western Australia. Regional Directors play a crucial role in our organization, and you will be responsible for providing essential support, mentorship, and leadership to empower our teams and practices to reach their maximum potential. This position will be primarily home-based in Australia, requiring regular travel to various practices across the states, as well as occasional attendance at relevant CVS meetings, conferences, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer strategic guidance and leadership to practices to ensure alignment with people, clinical, and commercial objectives.
  • Optimize the financial and operational performance of practices.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical services and care standards within practices.
  • Lead the effective implementation of key business and operational initiatives at both central and local levels.

  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.

  • High level of financial awareness and control.
  • Proficient in interpreting financial data to inform decision-making and action planning.
  • Accountability for delivering project and business outcomes.
  • Extensive experience in a senior managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in change management within dynamic environments.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and a track record of driving quality improvements.
  • Familiarity with Human Resource policies and practices, including interviewing and performance coaching.
