About this role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. This position involves delivering comprehensive assessments, assertive outreach services and providing acute care interventions.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, their families and carers to develop collaborative treatment plans that reflect best practice and evidence-based care.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver triage, comprehensive assessments and assertive outreach services to individuals and their families
  • Provide acute care interventions and support clients recently discharged from inpatient services
  • Develop collaborative treatment plans with clients, their families and carers
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent 12 months experience working as a registered nurse)
  • Demonstrated experience in the assessment and management of people presenting with acute mental health disorders
  • Demonstrated excellent negotiation skills and verbal and written communication skills
  • Current Driver's License and willingness to use for work purpose travel
