Job Title:

Quality Control Technical Specialist

">Job Description:
  • Conduct quality control inspections and witness testing in accordance with CCSM requirements.
  • Deliver PQC services, including review of quality documentation on Collins Class Submarines.

The role requires a strong understanding of quality management principles, experience in a heavy industry environment, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake dimensional inspections, industrial coating inspections, metal loss inspections, and pressure vessel inspections.
  • Review and analyze inspection results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering personnel, production, and contractors to resolve non-conformances and ensure quality standards are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • PQC qualifications and relevant experience in a heavy industry environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, including ISO 9001.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret Work Instructions, Drawings & Standards.
