Quality Assurance Specialist

At a leading food manufacturing facility, a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist is sought to ensure the production of high-quality products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and improving quality control systems by conducting analytical testing, calibration, and maintenance of equipment;
- Providing training and coaching to site staff in quality processes and protocols;
- Conducting internal audits, generating and analyzing reports, and supporting customer complaints and investigations;
- Handling chemical preparation and ensuring compliance with Hold and Abort systems;
- Driving site-wide quality initiatives;
- Ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) policies to guarantee product quality and safety.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Science (Chemistry), Food Science, or a related discipline;
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting within a similar manufacturing environment;
- High technical skills in instrumentation and/or chemistry and mechanical reasoning;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team;
- Strong self-management and initiative with the capacity to plan, prioritize, set targets, and achieve results.
