Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Canva Full time
About the Role

This Administrative Business Partner - Product Platform role is part of our close-knit Operations Partnering team here at Canva.

We are looking for someone super-efficient, who loves nothing more than to anticipate needs, get stuff done, and is able to suggest resolutions when identifying issues.

In time you will coordinate special projects and drive them to unilateral success by coordinating and communicating between key project owners.

About the Team

As an Admin Business Partner (ABP) to our Product Platform and Infrastructure's Leadership teams, your role is to partner with the leads to support their day-to-day administration and operations to ensure they're set up for success.

You will also have a cohort of ABPs to knowledge share, contribute to and support each other along the way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Time management: Ensure the Lead's time is used efficiently through calendar management, coordinating meetings and tracking action items and follow ups.
  • Own the day to day: Make sure that the lead's time is spent in the most impactful areas by triaging meeting requests, owning the inbox and flow of requests and running meetings effectively.
  • Meeting preparation: Prepare for meetings by coordinating and assisting in building any materials and research.
  • Proactively driving initiatives forward: Keep seasonal programs on track by coordinating and tracking timelines, milestones, and statuses, calling out issues as needed.
  • Forecasting and predicting emerging opportunities: In time, and working with the Supergroup Leadership teams, you will forecast and anticipate emerging opportunities across the Supergroups, and preemptively work on solutions.
  • General administration: Help out with a wide range of business and personal tasks as they come up including expenses, documentation and any other ad hoc requests.
Requirements
  • Experience empowering a leader 1:1, or a group of leaders through strong administrative support.
  • You have proven experience in a Project / Program Management or Events role, or similar within the start/ scale up tech environment.
  • Attention to detail is one of the first things people say about you - you take pride in high quality output, from written communications to Canva presentations.
  • A team player with high emotional intelligence. You love building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders around the business.
  • You're a quick learner, and comfortable in a fast paced and ambiguous environment. You're always looking for new ways to make things more efficient and solving problems in scalable ways making sure things get done the smart way not the hard way.
  • You've got a bias for action, constantly striving to get things done - you're happy to roll up your sleeves with any task, keeping the bigger picture in mind, with no task being too small if it makes the team around you more effective.
Benefits
  • Equity packages - we want our success to be yours too.
  • Inclusive parental leave policy that supports all parents & carers.
  • An annual Vibe & Thrive allowance to support your wellbeing, social connection, office setup & more.
  • Flexible leave options that empower you to be a force for good, take time to recharge and supports you personally.
