Clinical Governance Specialist

Job Description:
The successful candidate will have a key leadership role in shaping and implementing safety initiatives that promote clinical excellence across the district.
They will ensure compliance with established standards, drive quality of care improvement, and collaborate with stakeholders to foster a culture of safety.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Science or relevant field
- Significant recent clinical experience or equivalent work experience in complex healthcare settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with peers, clinicians, managers, and community members
- Provide high-level oversight and leadership for organisational patient safety and clinical quality priorities
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in health with significant recent clinical experience
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and clinical quality improvement principles
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) provides primary and secondary healthcare services to the local community.
