The Clinical Governance Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating clinical policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current legislation and best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures and guidelines in consultation with frontline staff and leadership.">
  • Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements, identifying risks and supporting audit processes.">
  • Analyse policy outcomes, contribute to quality initiatives and recommend changes to enhance clinical performance and consumer safety.">
  • Deliver guidance and training to ensure understanding and compliance with clinical policies.">
  • Maintain documentation, contribute to internal reporting and participate in audits and reviews to monitor effectiveness.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience.">
  • Current AHPRA registration (without limitations).">
  • 3-5 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare policy role, preferably in aged care or a complex service organisation.">
  • Solid understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance frameworks.">
  • Exceptional writing, consultation and presentation skills.">
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and confident managing documents in shared systems.">
  • NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to travel as needed.">
