Clinical Governance and Education Position

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse Educator to join our Clinical Governance Department. We are seeking an experienced professional to drive the design and implementation of clinical education programs and innovative practice initiatives that support high-quality, evidence-based care.

The Role:

Critical to this position is your ability to lead, educate and support staff on clinical topics, promote a culture of learning and development, and enhance clinical excellence. You will consult with clinical leaders to address clinical risks, improve clinical systems and processes through education and training, and oversee safe medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold current Registration with AHPRA
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years post graduate clinical experience within aged care
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a trainer/educator
  • Ability to prepare, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
  • Solid experience using Microsoft suite
  • Demonstrate advanced practice expertise
