About the Position

We are seeking a Mortgage Lender to work in Holsworthy as part of our team.

As a financial institution that has supported Defence personnel for over 65 years, we have built a reputation for delivering competitive products and exceptional service to our members.

Your Role

In this position, you will build strong relationships with our members through excellent customer service and sound mortgage advice. You will collaborate with colleagues, lending peers, and the credit team to deliver a positive member experience during their largest purchase - their home.

You will be expected to:

  • Provide seamless end-to-end banking experiences
  • Making outbound calls to new and prospective members
  • Create meaningful conversations with members by building trust and confidence
  • Build relationships within the Defence Community
  • Educate members to adopt digital banking tools
  • Grow the Mortgage and Consumer lending portfolios
  • Partner with the Credit Team to meet member expectations within a reasonable time period and within credit criteria

About You

A retail lending background, knowledge of local residential mortgage products, and the real estate market is essential. You must possess skills to create new opportunities, convert leads, and manage pipelines. A natural ability to build and maintain relationships through business development with members on base and within the local community is also required.

Tier 2 accreditation and/or Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Brokering is necessary for this role. This position offers various benefits including discounts on financial products, leasing options, and an Employee Assistance Program.
