About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team as a Lending Specialist. As a key member of our retail branch network, you will play a pivotal role in building relationships with our members and delivering exceptional service while offering sound residential mortgage advice.

In this dynamic role, you will work closely with branch staff, regional lending peers, and our credit team to provide a positive member experience during one of the most significant purchases they make – their home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide seamless end-to-end banking experiences for our members.
  • Making outbound calls to new and prospective members to build relationships and drive business growth.
  • Create meaningful conversations with members by building trust and confidence through excellent communication skills.
  • Build strong relationships within the Defence community to identify new business opportunities and drive lending portfolio growth.
  • Educate our members on digital banking tools to enhance their overall experience.
  • Growing the Mortgage and Consumer lending portfolios through proactive sales and marketing efforts.
What You'll Need
  • You are passionate about delivering exceptional member experiences and have a results-driven approach.
  • You possess strong retail lending experience, knowledge of local residential mortgage products, and the real estate market within your region.
  • Tier 2 accreditation and/or a Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Brokering is essential.
