Conference and Events Coordinator

This is a full-time role that will report to the lyf Champion and work closely with other departments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and managing all aspects of conferences and events, from initial planning through to execution and post-event review.
  • Overseeing the setup, operation, and breakdown of event spaces to ensure compliance with client requirements and organisational standards.
  • Liaising with internal teams (operations, catering, sales, and housekeeping) to guarantee seamless service delivery across all event stages.
  • Providing on-site leadership during events, troubleshooting issues promptly, and ensuring client and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintaining accurate administrative records, including event bookings, contracts, invoicing, and post-event reports.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience in conference and event management, with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
  • Solid knowledge of event operations, including food and beverage coordination, venue setup, and AV requirements.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and event management systems, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
