About the Project

The project will involve using social-visual stimuli to detect socio-cognitive disorders early in preterm infants. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to clinical follow-up of preterm infants and explore correlations between neurovascular physiology, neuroimaging, and neurodevelopmental assessments.

Your Role

">

As a successful candidate, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and researchers at Monash University and Monash Children's Hospital. You will work closely with Associate Professor Flora Wong and Dr Robin Laycock, among other co-supervisors, to advance your knowledge and skills in this field.

Requirements

">

To be eligible for this PhD program, candidates must meet the minimum requirements for admission to a PhD at Monash University. A strong background or training in clinical neonatology or follow-up of high-risk infants is highly desirable.

What We Offer

This PhD scholarship provides a tax-free stipend of $35,013 per annum (full-time rate) as per the Monash Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend. Additionally, applicants may be eligible for government and university-funded scholarships. The program offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a world-class research group and contribute to significant advancements in the field of neonatal brain injury.
