About the Role

Our organization is seeking a skilled Regional Operations Manager to oversee operational functions for a major retail landlord contract across New South Wales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational safety, performance, and compliance within their designated region.

This role involves providing technical and maintenance advice to stakeholders, managing the operations team, and driving sustainability goals including waste, recycling, energy, and water efficiencies.

Additional responsibilities include day-to-day management of operations, engineering, risk, and compliance, as well as acting as the primary escalation point for property operations, safety, risk, and compliance issues.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Facilities Management or a related field, along with experience in retail shopping center management and project delivery.

They must also possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to build and sustain key stakeholder relationships.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Facilities Management or a related field (desired)
  • Minimum 5 years of retail shopping center management experience
  • Valid drivers' license
  • Experience and understanding of project management & delivery
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Forensic attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and sustain key stakeholder relationships
