Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Village Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our village operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest achievable quality of work is maintained across all village services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accommodation Package Management: Manage and operate computerised accommodation packages with efficiency.
  • Cleaning Standards: Ensure optimum cleaning processes and standards by active management of cleaners and regular audits.
  • Maintenance Services: Maintain all company vehicles in a safe, roadworthy and clean condition.
  • KPI Performance: Ensure monthly KPI audit results meet agreed targets.
  • OHS Implementation: Implement and monitor OHS procedures, program changes and recommendations on site level.
  • OHS Training and Compliance: Conduct OHS Toolbox Talks, exercises, drills, meetings and Pre-starts to meet Company, regulatory agency and client expectations.
  • Site Supervision: Enlist the assistance from site supervisors in OHS matters according to their professional abilities.
  • Staff Performance: Ensure that all staff conduct themselves in a safe and professional manner at all times including attitude and dedication to their work assignment.
  • Incident Reporting: Report of any incidents, high potential incidents (HIPO), procedure deficiencies and poor working conditions to their immediate supervisor.
  • Workplace Safety: Dedication to and the promotion of a safe working environment throughout the workplace.
  • Employee Development: Ensure the completion of employee training and competency assurance records needed to perform their essential job duties.
  • Environmental Compliance: Review procedures regularly to ensure they contain measures to protect the environment.
  • Laws and Regulations: Ensure all relevant Federal and State laws and regulations are being complied with.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Actively promote and participate in business environmental programs, as directed by senior management and the environment department.
  • Auditing and Assessment: Conduct environmental, health and safety audits.
