Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Village Manager to oversee the daily operations of our mining villages in Western Australia. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of Utilities and Chefs, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining high standards.
This is a pivotal role that requires strong leadership skills, a passion for teamwork, and a hands-on approach. You will work closely with senior management and report directly to the Area Manager.
The Role
As Village Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Creating a safe work culture through regular pre-start team meetings
Managing full village operations, including cleaning, housekeeping, and catering services
Ensuring consistent operational performance and maintaining safety standards
Cost control and stock management
Rostering staff and approving timesheets
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
2 years of previous village supervisory or management experience, including overseeing multiple village operations
A strong work ethic and a positive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
