Irrigation and Pump Technician Job Description

Are you an experienced professional looking for a challenging opportunity in the irrigation and pumping industry?

  • We are seeking an Irrigation and Pump Technician to join our team, responsible for installing and fault-finding motor and pump controls, repairs, and installations of industrial, agricultural, and domestic irrigation and pumping systems.

The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a focus on providing exceptional support to customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Installing and maintaining domestic sprinkler and drip irrigation systems
  2. Municipal sporting field popup sprinkler systems
  3. Farm livestock watering systems
  4. Domestic water supply pumping and filtration systems

A strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a close team environment are essential for this role.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Competent plumbing skills
  • Technical pump training
  • Administrative skills
  • Ability to operate machinery such as trenching machines, mini loaders, bobcats, and excavators
