Irrigation Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Specialist to manage and maintain irrigation systems in residential, commercial, and agricultural settings. Key responsibilities include site preparation, installation, maintenance, and repairs of various irrigation systems.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • A willingness to continuously learn and improve skills and knowledge of new irrigation systems and technologies
  • Some knowledge or experience with electrical systems, plumbing, and pipefitting or similar
  • Problem-solving ability and attention to detail ensuring correct function and installation

The ideal candidate will have a HC Drivers licence and experience operating machinery such as trenching machines, mini loaders, bobcats, and excavators. This role offers an opportunity to work with a variety of irrigation systems, including agricultural centre pivots, lateral move irrigators, and fixed and portable farm irrigation systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing leaks, clogged pipes, malfunctions, and damages
  • Maintenance tasks such as replacing worn-out parts, adjusting sprinkler heads, and cleaning filters
  • Interacting with clients to understand their needs and provide guidance on system usage and maintenance
