Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and spiritually mature Chaplain to provide person-centred spiritual and pastoral care to residents, families, staff, and volunteers in our aged care facilities.

The successful applicant will have the ability to work collaboratively within our team environment, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional boundaries at all times.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide spiritual and pastoral support to residents, their families, and carers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local Christian churches and other community groups.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to resident care planning.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of spiritual and pastoral services provided.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in chaplaincy or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • A high level of Christian spiritual maturity with a pastoral heart.
  • Active involvement in and recommendation from a local Christian church.
  • Chaplaincy or pastoral care experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
