This role involves providing legal advice to the Chief Investigator, supporting functions of the investigator and utilizing expertise across various legal practice areas.


About Us

We are an independent transport safety investigator for NSW, conducting fair and balanced investigations and sharing safety lessons with stakeholders to improve transport safety.


The Role
  • Work as part of the senior leadership team independently providing legal advice to the Chief Investigator.
  • Support the functions of the Chief Investigator by providing accurate and timely legal advice and counsel across a broad range of matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You will need skills in project management, ability to juggle tasks and previous experience in government agencies or regulatory bodies. You should also have expertise in corporate governance, commercial law, contracts, liability, regulatory, administrative, privacy, employment and criminal law.
