Job Title: Garden Operations Manager

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in horticulture and excellent leadership skills. They will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gardens, including supervising staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the upkeep of our gardens, including pruning, planting, and pest control
  • Supervise a team of gardeners and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the gardens are always looking their best
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns they may have
  • Manage inventory of tools and equipment, and ensure that all necessary supplies are on hand
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Valid drivers license and working with children check
