Currently, Magnus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Gardener (General) in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Tasmania, and Perth.

We are looking for an experienced Gardener (General) to join our team. The role involves maintaining and enhancing the appearance of gardens and outdoor spaces for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, keen attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform general gardening duties such as pruning, mowing, edging, planting, and watering.
  2. Operate and maintain gardening equipment like lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws.
  3. Apply fertilizers and pesticides to promote plant health.
  4. Monitor and control pests and diseases.
  5. Maintain garden beds and keep them weed-free.
  6. Ensure outdoor spaces like paths and patios are clean and well-maintained.
  7. Collaborate with clients to understand their gardening needs and preferences.
  8. Develop and execute garden plans that align with clients' expectations and budgets.
  9. Communicate regularly with clients to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Gardener or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture and plant care.
  • Ability to operate and maintain gardening machinery and equipment.
  • Good physical stamina and strength.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
