Job Overview

The Cyber Security Threat Hunter will be a key member of the security operations team at Nine Entertainment, responsible for detecting, hunting, and responding to cyber security threats. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and analyze alerts, advisories, and incidents to identify potential security threats.
  • Develop and improve detection signatures across the SOC toolset to enhance threat detection capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the security operations team to develop and implement threat hunting and incident response strategies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the security operations team on threat intelligence and incident response.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure the security operations team is equipped to respond effectively.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a security operations role or as a security analyst.
  • Practical and flexible security mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with SIEM platform management and use case development.
  • Scripting, automation, and basic networking knowledge.
