We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Threat Hunter to join our team at ASIC.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing ASIC's cyber security posture by identifying and mitigating potential threats. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional services.
Key Responsibilities- Threat Hunting: Proactively hunt for anomalous system usage, potential attack vectors, and security misconfigurations across various environments, remediating where possible.
- Security Posture Improvement: Analyse and address security findings across different environments to improve ASIC's overall security posture.
- Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, including triage, resolution, and reporting of security incidents.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with the SOC Team Lead and other stakeholders to continuously improve SOC processes, tools, and service provision.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in a cyber security role, preferably as a SOC Analyst/Engineer or Incident Responder.
- Proficiency in cyber incident response processes and technologies, including SIEMs, OS, network security devices, cloud platform services, and endpoint security technologies.
- Demonstrable skills in assessing, analysing, and resolving complex client and stakeholder-related queries.
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively to senior-level audiences.
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- A base salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
