About the Role
The Staff Specialist Palliative Care position at JPS Medical involves delivering specialized Palliative Care Services for both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role requires providing professional leadership to medical staff within the service, actively contributing to the multidisciplinary patient care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the organization, management, and provision of expert clinical services in Palliative Care, including community-based care
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and quality of care
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Participating in quality improvement programs relevant to Palliative Medicine

Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia

- Extensive clinical experience with appropriate knowledge and skills extending across the range of Palliative Care services
- Commitment to the principles of quality in health care
