Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Care Specialist to join our team at ClearCompany. As a Staff Specialist in Palliative Medicine, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert medical care to patients with palliative care needs, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of symptoms.
  2. Lead and supervise medical and surgical trainees, residents, and medical students in palliative care.
  3. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  5. Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in palliative care.
  6. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  1. Medical Practitioner registered or able to be registered in Australia, inclusive of an unrestricted or 19AB exempted provider number.
  2. Recognised specialist qualifications, Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.
  3. Appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Palliative Care Medicine.
  4. Ability to work constructively and effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Demonstrated interest in quality improvement methodologies.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
