Home Care Support Worker

As a valued member of our team, you will provide high-quality support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live with dignity.

You will assist with daily living tasks, offer emotional support, and provide meaningful companionship. Your care will ensure clients feel safe, respected, and valued in the comfort of their own environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Domestic Assistance - Supporting with household chores such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Meal Preparation - Assisting with planning, preparing, and cooking meals.
  • Personal Care Support - Helping with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
  • Social Engagement - Providing companionship and encouraging participation in social activities and community engagement.
  • Transport Services - Offering transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.

We are looking for a kind-hearted, patient, and respectful person who is passionate about enhancing the lives of older people. You will need to share our organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion, and excellence, and bring them to everything you do.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Valid driver's licence
  • Reliable vehicle for travel between customer locations
  • Current first aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended)
  • Basic computer and smartphone literacy
