We are seeking a dedicated individual to work as a Home Care Support Specialist. This role involves delivering high-quality care services to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain independence and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a range of care services, including companionship, meal preparation, domestic assistance, and medication management.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care planning and coordination.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their physical and mental well-being.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care (desirable but not essential) or equivalent working or lived experience.
  • A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle.
  • Police Records Check (completed within the last 12 months).
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Manual handling training is desirable, but you will receive training if needed.
  • Rights to work in Australia.
  • Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online course.
