About this Opportunity:

We are seeking a part-time permanent Home Care Assistant to provide support for older people living in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and improve quality of life in Shellharbour and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver home assistance including cleaning floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and other living spaces according to established standards and schedules.
  • Provide bed linen changes, make beds, and ensure overall comfort and hygiene.
  • Offer client support through social interaction and observation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Australian driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Previous experience in aged or community care or a passion to begin a career in aged care.
  • Flexible and prepared to meet the changing needs and schedules of our home care clients.
  • Empathetic and resourceful with the ability to uphold values: compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
