Process Improvement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Process Improvement Specialist to join our collaborative team in higher education. The successful candidate will have a passion for driving efficiency and impactful change, with strong knowledge of Business Process Architecture and BPMN.
Our team is focused on enhancing work-integrated learning (WIL) processes using InPlace, a system for managing WIL activities. This is a unique opportunity to streamline operations and make a real difference in a dynamic, high-impact project environment.
Project OverviewOur team supports WIL programmes, which provide essential real-world experiences for students. The project aims to integrate InPlace with existing systems and enhance the end-user experience for students and industry partners.
The project addresses significant challenges around process inconsistencies, data quality, and system integration. As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, analysing, and implementing business processes to improve efficiency and user experience within a higher education context.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and refine Business Process Architecture, creating detailed process maps using BPMN.
- Analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to validate process flows and gather stakeholder feedback.
- Provide training and support to staff on new processes and tools.
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure alignment between process development and technological updates.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of new processes, recommending further improvements as needed.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Process Improvement Specialist or in a similar role.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Business Process Architecture, BPMN, and process mapping tools.
- Analytical: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders across the education sector.
- Teamwork: Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
