Lead Professional for Process Improvement and Compliance

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Professional to join our team in BDO, Australia. As a key member of our Quality Management Function, you will play a crucial role in implementing a new global conflict and independence system that will improve efficiencies across the organization.
About the Role- Work closely with Project Leads, Service Line Quality Leads, and stakeholders to develop best practices and processes for compliance with professional standards and company policies
- Implement policies and procedures, accompanied by learning resources, to support employee development and growth
- Liaise with other BDO firms to share best practices and stay up-to-date on industry trends
- Manage a team responsible for executing policies and procedures, including data upload and verification
- IDentify risks and troubleshoot issues related to the project, escalating them promptly to relevant leaders
- Represent BDO Australia on global calls and participate in strategic discussions
- Oversee project management throughout various stages of implementation
You'll need to have:
- Experience in a similar role within a professional services firm
- A passion for driving process change and improving organizational efficiency
- Demonstrated experience in leading process mapping discussions and incorporating stakeholder feedback into policy and procedure development
- High-level communication skills and problem-solving abilities through collaboration with Partners and senior staff
- Proven experience in managing, motivating, and developing teams
- Familiarity with the APESB Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants (including independence Standards) is an advantage
- A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications
