About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Inventory Specialist to join our team at carsales Limited. As an Automotive Inventory Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing inventory specialist product and project support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and efficient support to customers via various channels, including phone, email, and support ticket system.
  • Build and develop new and existing products across multiple platforms and CMS systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Support website re-platforming activities to drive customer retention and encourage repeat and additional business.
  • Provide internal and dealer training as required, relating to existing and new inventory-specific products.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and audits of inventory configurations and implementations prior to product delivery.
  • Implement SEO best practices and monitor website analytics to optimize performance and user experience.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that align with our company values.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and office suite, including CSV and TSV file types.
  • Understanding of XML and JSON file format inventory data for troubleshooting and configuration purposes.
  • Ability to understand technical issues and translate them to a non-technical audience.
  • Expertise in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and its application to web solutions.
  • Good computer literacy and data entry skills, plus an intermediate understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Understanding of domain management, DNS, and Zone updates.
