Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Control
    • Inspect and sample incoming bulk materials
    • Inspect and release finished products
    • Inspect the lab, label, and bulk for the production process
    • Process returned goods
    • Perform in-house laboratory testing
  • Inventory Control
    • Maintain label inventory for production use
    • Maintain retain and rejected logs
  • Documentation
    • File and organize various documentation
    • Quality review of documents
  • Other
    • Participate in training others as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year experience in Quality Control
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of cGMPs, FDA, DEA, and State Board regulations is considered an asset
  • Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills; applies judgment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Required to wear a full-face mask for up to several hours
  • Excellent communication skills required; fluent English (oral & written)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); Syspro/MasterControl an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
