About the Role
PFD Food Services is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Replenishment Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Replenishment Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our branches have the necessary stock levels to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse sales data and customer history to identify trends and patterns in inventory usage
- Develop and implement effective inventory replenishment strategies to meet business needs
- Purchase products from local and international suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels
- Monitor supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure best prices and service
- Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales data, and supplier information
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless inventory management and supply chain operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory management and replenishment planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
