Job Description

As a Health and Safety Professional Leader, you will be responsible for implementing a contemporary health safety and wellbeing management strategy and initiatives aimed at building compliance, capability, and agility of the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the organization's health safety and wellbeing management strategy and initiatives to ensure compliance, capability, and agility of the workforce.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure that the health, safety, and wellbeing program is implemented within all business areas to support organizational activities and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to provide responsive superior service.
  • Build and support the capability of the organization's Workplace Health and Safety networks and management teams to strengthen assurance in Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Assist in leading and coaching the Health Safety and Wellbeing team and Human Resources teams by strengthening knowledge and skills and aligning with key departmental, HumanResources, and Health Safety and Wellbeing priorities.
  • Lead the development and oversight of governance, reporting, and assurance frameworks to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and wellbeing outcomes.
