Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced maintenance supervisor to lead our team of maintenance fitters in optimizing production efficiency.


Main Responsibilities
  • To oversee the execution of maintenance plans, ensuring that all necessary tools, spares, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are readily available and up-to-date.
  • To support continuous improvement initiatives and manage engineering administration, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing changes as needed.
  • To facilitate problem-solving sessions, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • To foster strong team dynamics, implement performance management, and maintain open communication among team members.
  • To ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards, implementing best practices for a safe work environment and promoting a culture of safety awareness.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-speed packaging lines, preferably with experience in the beverage industry.
  • Proficiency in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and ability to effectively utilize technology to optimize maintenance operations.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement processes, including Gemba and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and team-building skills, with experience working collaboratively with external contractors and vendors.
  • Previous experience in managing FMCG machinery and achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Relevant qualifications in Engineering and Maintenance Management, such as certifications in CMMS or Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing strategies and continuous improvement initiatives, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
