Regulatory Manager Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Regulatory Manager will drive a strong regulatory culture and mature regulatory practices within the Biosecurity Operations Division.
  • They will assist in reviewing and providing regulatory expertise for operational decision-making, contributing to change, business planning, and organisational capability.
  • The successful candidate will build regulatory capability of operational teams through coaching and shared case examples, assisting in project development and delivery, and leading and planning.

Key Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of administrative law, delegations and authorisations, regulatory best practice, reporting requirements, Australian and international standards, and quality assurance.
  • They will also have experience supporting and coaching staff to work collaboratively in a challenging, complex, and fast-paced operational environment.
