Regulatory Reform Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Reform Specialist to join our team. The role is part of the Simplified Trade System (STS) Unit, which coordinates and drives STS reforms from July 2024.

The STS aims to create a simpler, more effective, and sustainable cross-border trade environment for Australia. As an APS5/6 Regulatory Reform Policy Advisor, you will work with businesses and government agencies to have a positive impact on Australian businesses and the community.

  1. Develop and implement regulatory reforms that support the growth of Australian businesses and improve the overall trading environment;
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders, including businesses and government agencies, to ensure that the STS is effective and efficient;
  3. Analyze data and identify areas for improvement in the STS and provide recommendations to stakeholders;
